TORONTO ? Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. said Friday that it has named Paul Rivett as president of the company.
Rivett has held a number of jobs at Fairfax over the past 10 years including chief legal officer and vice-president, operations.
He will continue in his role as chief operating officer at Hamblin Watsa Investment Counsel.
Fairfax is a Toronto-based property and casualty insurance and reinsurance company with holdings across Canada and the United States.
