Some retailers do much more with less.

That?s according to a new study by Retail Sails, which stacked up brick-and-mortar retailers by how well they did per square foot.

The top of the list is not surprising, according to editor of the Austin Business Journal Colin Pope. Apple beat all competition with $5,647 for each square feet of retail space it uses.

The jewelry store Tiffany?s took second place with about $3,000 per square foot.

Luxury retailers, not surprisingly, did very well in the study.
